The raindrops on my roof

Water, your every drop is life!

I dream, to see tiny rain droplets playing on my roof,
On tinkle toes it flows down to my well,
Flooding my farms, green and marshy,
I hear, bells of my cows grazing in the dewed fields,
And the ducks flapping their wings in the pond,
I dream every day, plenty of rain.

I dream, to see rose-bloom in my back yard,
Pink, red, white, of all colors and shine,
The long trees swaying their hearts out,
To welcome the droplets, may be just a few,
I pray every day, to be as strong as the tiny droplet,
Falling from the sky, alone.

I dream, to hear the giggle of my children dancing in the rain,
Their umbrellas blown away by the wind,
And paper boats swept away in the tiny stream,
I miss, the muddy shoes and clothes,
Smelly and soapy,
Hanging all around.

I dream, to see the river of my village,
Dancing, Singing, Roaring, and Healing,
Taking a splash in it, I pick a few stories of life,
Hidden in its depth,
I ponder, why I never cared for you, when you were in abundance!

Give me one more chance, and I would not let you down,
I would worship every drop of you.
Water, your every drop is life!
