Thoughts of Thee

With a cup of tea
sitting here  alone
With  thoughts of thee

Watching the sun setting down
Waiting for lightening the town
Undone days and sleepless nights
Cloud turns grey to blue and white
Everything is the same as it was
except for a moment that still at pause

The moment you separated
The moment you did us apart
In my mind, it always stayed
Why you entered and left, and for what
Why did you come when you had to go
What made you do this to me
Don’t your conscience question you
Didn’t you get bothered by this thought?

Hopelessly I wait
You can love me, you can hate me
But you can never forget
The happy days of togetherness
The moments of laughter
Shy  smiles and lower gaze
The beauty of life lies there
The days we spent together…!
