The Paragons

He is not protecting the borders of the nation

Nor is he providing financial support to the needy 

But he has chosen the untrodden path

To plug in the gap to outshine the competition 

His concealed idea is to provide the buttress

in career building of the underprivileged

He tolerates disparaging remarks

He is unaffected by all the criticism.

He is undeterred by all the denunciation      

There are many unsung heroes in our country

Following their chosen paths nonchalantly.

We salute these overlooked Paragons

On our Republic Day.
