When you look at your reflection
In the mirror,
Who do you see!
Do you see you?
Or the “you” you want to be.
Do you see the future,
Or the moment here and now?
Do you see yourself shining
In the glow of the morning sun
Or the scalded past self
That doesn’t even exist now?
Is happiness a mirage to you,
Or are you happy now?
When you look at your reflection
In the mirror
Who do you see?
