Falling For you

These leaves are falling
Non-chalantly,
As the autumn breeze sets into
The scenery...

Every October,
When I sit at the dinner table,
The same instance
Goes onto repeat,
If I was an endurance
For you,
I hope the tolerance was met.

We break hearts,
Unknown of the mess we are making...
We get confused,
When someone says they are waiting on you...

And
Then when everything's well,
Why do the dinner conversations
Never change?
Why do distance matter,
When communication should set the bar?
Because people don't change like
The breeze of autumn,
Which come in swiftly
And then makes you gulp every breath...

People wither in changing times
And Grow old like fine wine,
With every new sip,
The taste growing deeper...

They forget themselves
In the present tenses,
And come back next autumn
To fade in the same abyss...

These leaves keep reminding me,
That falling for you
Was something I shouldn't regret ¿
