Navratri 2021 – 9 Days, 9 Colours

The nine-day festival of Navratri is just around the corner starting from Oct 7-Oct 15th. Navratri is dedicated to Mother Goddess Durga, worshipped as SHAKTI. With the arrival of the Maa Durga, the auspicious Devi Paksha begins, and devotees of the Mother Goddess shall observe a fast, perform puja and celebrate the nine manifestations of feminine power.

One of the aspects of the festival is that different colours are associated with each day. Therefore, people get dressed in the colour designated for each day to make the most of Navratri festivities.
