No Talking AtAll – ‘Small Town Girl’ by Apeksha Atal
Episode Description
On Mothers’ Day, I sat down with my mom to hear the story of her childhood all around India, and how this shaped her into the adaptable person she is today. We also get a chance to talk about what “home” and “belonging” mean to us, as well as something very important to any cultural experience: food.
Hyphenated, asterisked, and underscored identities are challenging to navigate, so we're here to try and talk things out. These are the stories of my friends, family and self, and I am so glad you're choosing to join us in these conversations.
Actually, not really - there's no talking at all on your part - all you have to do is listen.
